Assist

Assist is a program of the BillNip Foundation, a recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. Using BillNip’s payment rail, the Foundation accepts contributions and pays verified billers on behalf of confirmed public servants. Support is anonymous and no funds go to individuals. The Foundation issues IRS compliant receipts for contributions made through Assist.

How Assist works

Apply for confirmation

Apply in the BillNip app to be confirmed as a public servant.

Approval

After approval, your bills are placed in Assist. Public listings show only a bill amount and a unique ID.

Support

Supporters choose a company, select a bill to pay, and contribute any amount. Contributions are made to the BillNip Foundation. The Foundation applies the contribution to that bill and pays the biller directly on the recipient’s behalf. Support is anonymous.

Receipts

Supporters receive an IRS compliant receipt for contributions from the BillNip Foundation.
